The faculty at Apeejay School of architecture can be rated as average at best, with almost equal numbers of senior and junior professors teaching here. The faculties taking climatology, landscape and conservation are among the good teachers, while the rest are just about okay. Teachers appointed for ID (interior design) branch are not as good as those for core. Students complain that they’re not co-operative all the times and can create a trouble for you if they’re in a bad mood.

Appejay has a nice campus, although not too big, it definitely looks good with lush green lawns on each side of a walkway leading to the college building. The buildings are also built in a unique style such that it adds to the aesthetic value of the campus. However, students complain of space crunch in the classrooms and labs due to increase in intake. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled but it doesn’t work all the time and speed is also low. The college library has got adequate number of books and there’s also a book bank system under which books get passed on each year to the juniors.

The placement scene in this college is not pretty. Placements do happen but not all students get placed and return on investment is too bad considering most students get 20,000 a month. No big companies come; neither do any specialized company come.
College tries to get companies for summer placements but again hardly a few students manage to get it from college. Your links with seniors can come as handy to get summer’s. Nevertheless they’re a good learning experience.

Apeejay Institute of Technology’s School of Management is located in Knowledge Park 1 of Greater Noida and it is quite inaccessible for those travelling from Delhi. The nearest metro station would be Noida sector 18 on the blue line, which is about 40 minutes’ bus ride from the college. Those travelling from Noida and Ghaziabad opt for private buses, which drop you at Pari Chowk which is a 10 minutes’ walk from the college. However most people prefer to stay as a PG in areas nearby the college, which is a wise thing to do, considering it may take as much as 2 hours of travelling one way.

Top Hostels Reviews ALL Hostels REVIEWS

There are 3 hostels in the campus and it is compulsory for the 1st years to stay there. 2nd year onwards you can choose to stay outside the campus as a PG, which is the general trend among students. The hostel rooms are decently sized and are also cleaned regularly. You can have a room all to yourself or you can share it among 2 or 3 partners and you’ll be charged accordingly. Hostel charges are Rs 67,000 for most premium single occupancy room where as the PGs are available for 6,000 per month and they’re way better than hostels. The food in mess is good at the beginning of the year but the quality deteriorates as the year progresses. Overall the students rate the infrastructure as 7 on 10.

Canteen is bad. They serve only fast food and snacks in what little space that they have. On top of it the food tastes bad too and the space is totally unhygienic. The only good point about canteen is that it’s very economical. The students rate the canteen as 4/10.

Ansal plaza is the nearest hangout which hardly a 10 minutes’ walk from the college. There are also a lot of malls and restaurants in Atta market which is about half an hour’s drive.

Crowd is not the best. Especially girls find the crowd a little indecent. However there are good people too who are of mixing nature and nice to make friends with. Majority of the crowd belongs to UP and Bihar; there are also many from Delhi NCR. The girls to boys ratio is 40 – 60 which is not bad compared to other greater Noida colleges.

Jovan fiesta is the annual cultural day of the college in January. There’s also a sports week held in the November end. It is the most awaited event among the students.

If you are looking for leaning and a good career then this is NOT a college for you. Consider this college if you just want a management degree and some kind of employment after that.

There’s generally one seminar conducted each month. Many of them are pretty interesting and interactive. Renowned people from the industry such as CEOs of Moser Baer and LG conduct these seminars. One industrial visit is also conducted per batch but generally it’s not much informative.
