The permanent faculty is pretty chilled out and consists of some excellent, some good and a few teachers which get to your head all the time. Visiting faculty is exceptionally good and students are quite happy as most of their lectures are taken by these industry professionals.

A hundred year-old building stands tall and wide with unusually big windows giving excellent ventilation to the classrooms and lecture halls. The insides of the building give you a feel of an old convent school with most of the building dedicated to the under graduate and junior college - Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics. Just the top floor of this building has been slightly renovated to match with other management colleges. Although the infrastructure isn't very impressive at the first glance, the smaller and more important necessities of the students such as projectors, microphones and library are well taken care of. An elevator has been installed for the convenience of the students and is allowed to be used only by the Management students.

SIMSREE is located bang opposite the last station on the Western Railways – Churchgate and not very far from other renowned colleges of this area namely GLC, Jai Hind, HR and KC. Accessibility shouldn’t be an issue unless you stay really far from the college and are NOT a frequent suburban train traveller.

Students are extremely enthusiastic, smart, active and hungry to learn and experience new things all the time. Campus life is not stressful the way it is. Even attendance can be managed if you bunk due to certain authentic reason. There's fully equipped gym, a table tennis room and a pool table to relieve of stress at any point in time.

"SIMERATIONS" is the inter collegiate cultural festival celebrated at SIMSREE sometime in February. This event is celebrated at a large scale. Another event called "Simerations" includes a panel discussion with the top corporate honchos. Many other competitions are also arranged for from time to time.

SIMSREE is a front runner amongst Management colleges in Mumbai. It is one of the top choices of the students aspiring for a managent degree and rightly so.

Seminars are organized quite often (almost once a week) and big names like Motilal Oswal and Hiranandani are invited to address the students. The best part about seminars and industrial visits is that its all student driven, i.e., planned, organized, executed and managed by the students. IVs however, don't necessarily happen, not because the college doesn't support it, but because themselves can't them out of the numerous activities they've dived deep into.
