Professors at Alkesh Dinesh Mody are pretty good. The teachers are highly qualified and well versed with their topics. Finance department has awesome teachers and students are in awe of their teaching. Almost 70% of the visiting faculty is the same as the prestigious JBIMS. When it comes to the teaching section at this college, students say, “HANDS DOWN!”

Located in the Mumbai University campus, Alkesh Dinesh Mody’s infrastructure is just about average. The college building is pretty small and has a tiny campus. The first two floors are reserved for the MMS course while the rest is for the BMS course. Classrooms are equipped with an air conditioner and single seater chairs. Washrooms are neat and clean. The college is enabled with wifi connectivity. Library, although not air-conditioned, is loaded with books of all the courses within MBA.

AIR Inida, AMUL, Godrej, Bank of India, Bajaj Capital, ICICI, HDFC and other such reputed financial and marketing companies are seen in the college campus during the placement season. An advantage at Alkesh Dinesh Mody is that you can expect a good lot of Public Sector Companies (PSU’s) during the recruitment months.

Students prefer the BEST buses as they are economical while some travel by auto rickshaws and their private vehicles. Even though accessibility to the college isn’t a huge problem, the roads are jam-packed with traffic.

The ones that come from other parts of the country prefer to stay on their own. Boys count is more as compared to girls. Students are seen studying all the time, completing their projects, following up on their case studies, etc. Campus life is stressful but the smart ones enjoy life to the fullest. Being in Mumbai, the campus is spread over a sprawling 230 acres. There are various food and tea joints within and just outside the campus.

Low fees, less competition and PSU’s seen in the campus during the placement season are definitely the best factors of Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute for Financial and Management Studies. Only drawback would be the less diversified and dull crowd (unlike other MBA colleges).
