The College building has a modern look and the infrastructure is awesome. “Yeh to hotel ki tarah lagta hai” is what your thoughts would be on seeing the college for the first time. The classrooms and labs are excellent and the laboratories are air-conditioned. There’s also provision for wi-fi but the connectivity is low and it’s accessible only from some parts of the building.

The placements are good for marketing specialization and above average for finance specialization wherein about 60% of the students get placed. The scenario is said to be bad for HR and Operations. Average Packages hover around 3 to 3.5 Lakh per year. The college also assists about 30% of the students in getting summer internships, others have to manage themselves.

The Institute of Professional Studies (ASM IPS) is located by the Mumbai-Pune highway in Pimpri and is thus pretty much accessible from most parts of the city. The only thing is that it’s a little too far for students coming from Southern Pune areas like Katraj.

The students come from well-to-do families and overall the crowd is very decent and disciplined. Few students have job experience as well, but most of them are freshers. Number of boys to girls is around 2:1. The college is also not very particular with the attendance issue and upto 60% is allowed without any strict action.

The campus life isn’t very stressful.
Insignia is the annual college festival. There are many other events happening in the ASM group’s sister institutes in which the students can participate. IBMR’s Bizz is another popular event.

Frequent seminars and presentations are organised by the college on interesting topics. Mahindra, Tata, MIDC and Forbes are some of the companies that conduct seminars. Industrial visits are also organised but aren’t a very good learning experience.
