Teachers are very good but very strict. Especially the faculties of computer department are known for being harsh.

The campus is pretty huge and beautiful. There are 2 more engineering colleges on campus: KJ College of Engg & Trinity College of Engg. Even though the college is in such a remote location. The management has big plans for the campus infrastructure and it could turn out to be a landmark if the plans are followed.

First batch has not yet passed. The placements for KJ’s other college Trinity college of engineering have been mediocre but improving each year.

KJ Educational Institute’s Purandar College of Engineering & Management Research (PCOEMR) is located among the Bopdeo ghats, with nothing nearby, neither this side of the college nor that. Getting to the college is a tough task as it's really far from Pune city, it's in a deserted area where no rickshaw-walla would agree to ferry you unless you agree to pay him more than two hundred bucks and only a couple of PMT buses ply close to the college with extremely bad frequency. Fortunately the college runs a bus service (at extra charges) for students which covers a radius of about 12-15 km. Trinity College enjoys a scenic location though. Feels like you've come for a hill-side picnic.

It has no hostel of its own at present and the students have to find a way to reach the college themselves or manage to find a place to live somewhere close.

None near college. But a few good places can be found near Kondhwa which is some 5 km away.

It’s a kind of average crowd – neither good nor bad. Majority of the students are from rural background though.

KJ’s Youth Fest is the only festival and it is common for all institutes in this campus. It hosts technical, cultural as well as sports events. It is an intra-college festival and participants from other colleges are not allowed. And then your standard days like DJ day, Chocolate day, Rose day etc. are also organised in this college.

“……………………” – this was the reaction of students when asked to give a verdict about their college & whether they’d advise someone to join this college! We would say that although KJ’s Purandar College of Engineering & Management Research has got some positives like infrastructure & faculty, it is still in a nascent stage. Give it some time and see how it fares, especially once the placements start.
