Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering is said to be one of the stricter and more discipline-oriented college amongst engineering colleges in Pune. Students are detained if their attendance is below 50%, whatever excuse they come with, it wouldn't suffice. If it's anything between 50 and 75%, students are asked to buy books for the library as fine. The principal is especially particular about discipline and does not like students hanging around in the campus when lectures are on. So even if you do wish to bunk, don't let his sight fall upon you.
Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering has about 80% local crowd, and very few OMS students. The crowd is very united. Since the college is far from central Pune, the seats are bound to be filled in with more rural-folk than city-folk.
CCD, Foodies corner, Kati Kebab are few of the popular places where students from PCCOE spend some of their free time. Hot wada pav and samosa pav near the railway station taste really good !!
The canteen is very spacious and quite clean. Although it has a few items on offer, at least the taste is good.
