Admission Process for VJTI/COEP/SGGS/WCE/SPCE


For the year 2014-15 admissions to autonomous institutes will be conducted via CAP rounds. The following information is only for archival purpose.

Following is the OLD admission process for VJTI/COEP/SGGS/WCE/SPCE called CAPAI given here for archival purpose. Those interested can read it:

1. Information Brochure with all the required information about the admission procedure will be issued at the ARCs.

2. Go to the website : www.dte.org.in/fe2011 and fill up the Online Application Form for CAP & CAPAI. Only one common application form needs to filled in.

3. Take a print-out of the completed application form and head to the nearest ARC for confirmation of Online Application Form & Document Verification. It is important that the eligible candidate goes there in person with all the required documents in original and attested copies as per requirement.

4. A Provisional Merit List of candidates who have confirmed the online Application Form for CAP & CAPAI will be displayed on the website www.dte.org.in/fe2011. Discrepancies like mistake in the name or other personal details if any must be reported to the ARC within the stipulated period. A Final Merit List will then be displayed.

5. Dates for filling in and confirming the Online Option Form for CAPAI Rounds will then be announced. The eligible candidates need to fill in their preferences according to their choices in the Option Form on the website www.dte.org.in/fe2011.

6. The list of students allotted the various colleges and streams for the first round will be displayed on the site. These students need to report to the respective institutes as per allotment and complete the necessary procedure such as payment of fees etc.

7. Steps 5 & 6  are repeated for CAPAI Rounds 2 and 3.

8.If there are any vacancies in any of the institutes after the first three rounds then CAPAI Round-IV will be conducted by counseling at respective Institute level.
